I have had NO luck with the free ads, or work notice boards or the like. I'm not trying to hawk them on mudcat, but was more wondering if anyone had any practical ideas. I live in England, but don't really want, for example, to lug both up to London to Hobgoblin to get offered £2.50 for them both! So, any practical advice welcomed! Paul |

This will give you an idea of what people are asking for similar istruments. Next, go to the left hand column and click on "completed." This wil tell you what people have actualy paid for same. If this shows that you can sell your instrunents for what you want, you need to register. You will need a credit card number et al. In the old days eBay would bill you, but the volume they work in precludes this amenity. If you choose this route, I will be happy to help you with the listing details. It's a B/C Parrot (I think), in a box with a strap. My brother bought it for me a while ago and I just can't get into playing it, despite my efforts. Hobgoblin advertise one for £155 2nd hand, so that's the kind of figure I'm thinking of. Although to be honest it's just sat at home as I don't even know anyone I can lend it to! The violin is a Poller, comes with a case and bow. It's in good condition, set up, re-strung and ready to roll. I'd be interested in any ideas as to suitable prices. I live near Basingstoke in Hampshire. Thanks for the advice offered. I'll have a look at the websites and see what they suggest.
