When I was a young airman in Germany one of the speciality numbers at
bar sessions was a guy who did a monologue about Daniels wanderings in the desert.If any one has knowledge of this woderful piece of(mostly)rude peose I would be very grateful.

That version is only one of many, and I have never seen one which gives the FULL story. I have previously given a link to Llewtrah's bawdy song site, which has several versions of this monologue.

Does anyone have any information on its history? I first heard it at school in the 1950's.

(titles : The saga of Daniel, Night of the Kings Castration, etc)

Tech question - I posted to this thread, as I thought, but my posting appeared in a different thread - but I had gone to Micca's link, abd then returned via the Back bitton. Can this redirect you to a different thread? Is it a bug or a feature?

Yes Giok thats the one.Ive just printed off all sixteen pages to do an edit for myself.
