I would, however, suggest you compare withy the PUTW #27 and K&K Western for a bridgeplate-mounted system. Then, of course there are a whole host of under-saddle systems. After a lot of deliberation and reading of comparative reviews I plumped for the PUTW #27 which works very well for me. moo |

I run the PUTW through a Fishman external preamp that I already use for several instruments with excellent results (the PUTW does really need a preamp of some type). I believe the PUTW preamp is good from reports I've heard but have no personal experience with it. Best regards, moo |
