Yesterday I heard for the first time that I'm supposed to be singing it at a Hospice ceremony. I've been assured it's very simple, and that I can pick it up easily...still, I'd like to familiarize myself with it before I have to take the stage! Just words would be helpful, tho melody would be great. Having never heard it myself I don't know anything else about that lyrics, except that it is appropriate for a ceremony honoring loved ones who have died. Thanks for any help...I've already checked here and can't fnd anything. |

21 Nov 02 - 09:31 PM (#832139) Subject: RE: Just 1 Thing/Remember You Lyrics From: Mudlark Wish I could be more helpful but as I've never heard the song, I haven't a clue, except that it's a simple 3 chord song, easy enough to get an audience singing along with you (haha...but not if you don't know the song!) and I think maybe the clincher line is something like "One thing I can do is remember you." When I pressed the woman who is heading up the ceremony for more info, she just assured me I'd have no trouble picking it up...apparently she'll be singing it too...not even sure about that, tho I think I'm the only one with a guitar. Volunteer organizations are not known for...organization. But one can hardly complain when they are doing such needed work... |
