Does anyone know whatever became of the British Deighton Family? They released three albums about 10 years ago and then vanished from the face of the earth?

Good question. I saw them perform at a festival at Castle Douglas (must have been about ten years ago) aand they were sensational.

Their version of John Tams "Rolling Home" was the best I have ever heard.

The Dad was a bit of a rough diamond if I remember aright ....

I've got their first (I think) LP -- and never heard much afterwards.

Rosalie Deighton is a solo act these days, with a CD issued last year. I don't think the band are doing very much at the moment.
Here are the Amazon details

As far as I know they still do the odd gig together. Dave and Josie (at least) still live at Silkstone, nr Barnsley, S Yorks.
