It was apparently an English male singer songwriter with solo guitar, and probably dates from the mid-eighties. Can anyone shed light please? Joan |

I did find this resource for song titles. Despite the site title there are songs listed from other eras and genres. It might be worth looking at the Chronological Index, through the 80's, and see if anything rings a bell. Sorry, I don't think it's much. Good luck, kat |

The guy you want is Pete Ryder originally of Eccles now residing (I think) in Bolton. He still works the circuit and I believe may be booked to do a fund raiser for Cleckheaton Folk Festival shortly. He was due to release a new CD which if it is anything like as good as the previous one will be superb Cleckheaton F F have a web site which should contain contact numbers |

Sorry to be so long in replying, I've been unable to access Mudcat for the last two days. I do know Pete Ryder, and I'll be able to pass that information on to the friend who asked. Thank you again. Don't know if Pete Ryder is C&W, nor whether this helps!! Paul |
