Can anyone tell me please, is there a song 'Sanctified Sue' and are the lyrics (if any) and history knowable please? Thanks, Gavin |

There is also a jazz tune entitled, Sanctified Sue, but I doubt it's the same. Sanctified Sue: 1758 listed as a tune in the Paul Davenport Manuscript Sanctified Sue: from Choice Collection of 200 Favourite Country Dances, A. Vol 4; Published by Johnson, Jno., London 1744 Found in: The British Library, London, England, GM,Facs. Good luck, Richie |
