From: lamarca WAMU-FM in the Washington, DC area is going to broadcast this year's NEA Heritage Awards Concert tonight, Friday, November 29, from 8-10 PM EST. I don't know for sure if it will be available on their streaming audio, but 'Catters should check it out to hear some great music by some great traditional musicians (including our kytrad)! I couldn't find it archived on that station's Web site, or on WAMU's. NEA should get a copy eventually, but they don't have one yet. |

I did hear all of it, except that first bit and it was wonderful! Jean, you and your son sounded fantastic. I loved the songs you did, esp. In the cool of the morning. What a thrill and honour to be able to say to my family, "Listen! That's our Jean, she's a Mudcatter and a friend! Even gave me dulcimer advice!" The whole show was really lovely.
