30 Nov 02 - 04:56 AM (#837629) Subject: Searching for W. New York musicians From: Lee Hi all. I'm a recent returnee to folk music (after 20 years off for kids, church music, storytelling). I'm in Gates NY USA, near Rochester. I'd be interested in finding a musician or two locally to practice with, create songs with, hopefully play out with. I'm of the Arlo Guthrie school. I mix humor, political, old timey, originals, even pop. A set might include Tie Me Kangaroo Down Sport, I've just seen a face, Midnight Special, Mama Don't Allow, Psychotherapy, Maggie was a boozer, The Shower Song, Deportee, and so on. Anyone out there? |
