He's excellent! A very funny man, connects with his audience and has them in the palm of his hand. He comes across as an extremely nice person too. You'll have a great time.

Keith is very good.

He is a brilliant songwriter and has written some very heartrending songs that can make you cry "Cadbury's flake and cars" and most recently "The Two Tall Trees", and his antics are hilarious, he does not sing his serious songs very often because he gets swamped by requests for his funny stuff and he is a lovely bloke.

I wish I could be there!

Saw him at Bed'rth yesterday; off-the wall, wacky, amazingly good. No doubt pandered to the audience's expectations in doing only funny stuff (I wish I'd heard him do Two Tall Trees, I heard someone else do that song recently and was very moved - I'll insist he does it at Herga).

His Folk Festival parody of VP's "YMCA", in leather gear and all, was a side-splitter, but requires extra gear incl caraoke soundtrack, so no doubt he won't be doing it in small venues.

In my eyes he easily outshone Les Barker (himself equally funny, but by now also very predictable), with whom he shared the "last session of the night".

Great value; not many like him around; not many of him to the pound/euro/dollar. If you are within a 100 mile radius of London give yourself a treat and come to Herga on the 9th Dec.

Brilliant Brilliant beware don't let him catch you doing anything out of the ordinary during his set or he Will have you, At a concert we saw him at, he moved the whole audience across the room when somebody went out to the bar and just kept going with his set the result when the person returned from the bar as you can inagine was hilarious.
Keith

Seen him many times now and he is very good. He no longer writes for Jasper Carrot and to be honest I don't think the material he (JC) does now is as funny.

We have booked Keith at the Walton festival twice,if I was still booking the artists I would book him every year as they do at Warwick, not only is he the funniest man ,he is also the nicest!
You have to see him do his cooking bacon routine!
When he came to Walton last time he gave Bill and I tickets to see J C in Ipswich the following week,Keith did warm up and brought the house down, also, JC did the material that Keith had done at the festival, all I will say is that I laughed more at the walton festival.
His serious songs are wonderful.GO SEE HIM BREEZY!!

I thought you were going to be at Bed'th - he was there. I have to say he is an absolute hoot the first time, and the second but he does benefit from resting occasionally (you that is not him). If you like intelligent heckling he is very quick minded so prepare your mondegreens in case he wanders into that territory.

At several Festivals, Linda's son Tom has been known to sit through some very boring (to him, at least) performers, just so that he didn't miss Keith's spot.

I don't actually think I'm very good at all but come and see me and prove me wrong. Er... Do still write for JC occasionally, but only the funny stuff (So anything you see him do that's not funny obviously isn't mine!) KD

Hi all

I agree with everthing you have all said about Keith, he is a must see/hear singer/songwriter and jolly nice geezer!

My favourite song he has written is on Gilly Darby's album and is about foxhunting and makes me cry but it is a clever song.

Keep up the good work Keith and don't be afraid to do the serious stuff its excellent

I think he's excellent as well - I thought I was going to expire from laughing when I saw him and Les Barker at Bridgnorth last year.
'How I Need You' was worth the entry fee.

And he was on the credits for Jasper's show a couple of weeks ago.
