I know Mexican culture has contributed a lot to (US)American culture. Can anyone lead me to sources of infromation to learn about the folk music of Mexico. They had a big box set on songs of the Mexican Revolution and another on "Corridos y Tragedias de la Frontera." There is a companion CD to Narcocorridos that is nice in that it encompasses several styles: Bandas, Conjuntos, mariachis, etc. |
