Try and avoid the suburbs of Auckland... it's got my sister in it (it's her birthday today....)

G'day kant fiddle,

Try this NZ Folk site:

KiwiFolk

It was recommended by friends, Bill & Kath Worsfold, who were in the Australian Folk Scene - then returned to Kiwiland where they run a band.

regards,

Bob Bolton

Pete Grassby a morris dancer (and reasonably accurate melodeon repairer) is visiting Auckland and is booked at the Titirangi FC and playing/calling English & French dances at the Auckland festival 25th/26th. He is hoping to tour a bit and visit the Mainland (South Island to the rest of the world) and take-in as many Folkie events as he can as he passes through. He mentioned Wellington. And he is in San Franciso on Feb1/2.

kant fiddle Check-out the Auckland FC in a bunker halway up Mount er um is it Wellington or Victoria?

I've been getting a bit of radio airtime in New Zealand and have had a nice note from one of the DJs there. I know I sent a CD to a station in West Hastings, NEW ZEALAND and I know that 1431AM has been reporting airtime on their playlists ... I'm not sure if these are one and the same station. I'm not too good at record keeping!

Please let me know if you hear any tracks from The Soul of a Wanderer while you're there. I didn't send much to Australia and New Zealand this time - but maybe I should have?
