Lyr Req: Fisherman's Christmas Carols

I work for a fishy agency and our holiday party is tomorrow. My boss loaned us a CD of A Fisherman's Christmas Carols by Rex Fowler (half of Aztec Two-Step). I want to get us all singing some of them so I'm preparing to transcribe the lyrics, but if someone else has them already it would save me a lot of time. I've checked the DT and wed and no luck so far. SO, does anyone have the lyrics to these parodies:

Hark Some Lines That Anglers Fling (Hark the Herald..)
Ho Ho Ho A Fishing We Go (Up On The Rooftop..)
SOmething Smells (Jingle Bells)
We Wish You WOuld Clean Our Fish Mess (We Wish You a Merry...)
Check Below the Deck for Rollie (Deck the Halls..)
I Saw Three Fish (I Saw Three Ships)
A Fisherman's Prayer (God Rest Ye...)

Thanks very much.

This isn't one of them, but it has the "Something Smells" part: From http://bayard.lincs.net/smells.htm

JINGLE SMELLS
To the tune of "Jingle Bells"
Copyright 1994 , The Shadows of the Elm

CHORUS:
Jingle Bells, something smells,
What is that we spy?
The carcass of a Christmas goose with feathers all awry.
Jingle Bells, something smells,
Better cook it quick,
Or Henry Baker's Christmas goose is gonna make you sick.

From a hansom cab, Henry spied a place,
That he though he'd patronize and warm his hands and face.
Went into the pub, bought himself a beer,
Spied the geese and joined the club so he'd have one that year.

(CHORUS)

Henry got the goose and went into the street,
When suddenly a gang of roughs just knocked him off his feet.
Left his goose and hat and quickly ran away,
When he saw a London cop coming down that way.

(CHORUS)

Policeman took the goose, and cut it up to cook.
When the knife hit something hard he had to take a look.
There inside its crop, a carbuncle of blue.
He picked it up and left his house, he knew just what to do.

(CHORUS)

That's our little song, the story isn't through,
But if you want to know the rest we'll tell you what to do.
Get your reading specs, and go up to your shelf,
For if you want to know the rest, just read the book yourself!

Please post the lyrics! It's probably best to create a new "Add Lyr." thread for each of them.

Somehow I've missed these parodies.

Actually - if they are all from the same source - posting them together in this thread would be fine!!!! and since you've already given us the tune direction I won't even be nagging for that!

Generally, when songs are related like this, it's best to post them all in the same thread. Since they're posted and cross-linked already, I guess I won't bother to transfer them to this thread.

How about "Vernon the Snub-Nosed Sturgeon" or "I Saw Mommy Cleaning Albacore"?

Cluin - You write 'em, I'll sing them!

Our agency used to have a huge stuffed fish costume we called "The Sturgeon General" but ultimately we were told we couldn't use that title because it implied disrespect of the Surgeon General. Geeze.

Susan-Marie-

I suppose I could look up this old ditty for your collection:

Virgin sturgeon need no urging!

You might also check the DT for "Fish Finger" and Fish Stick" songs. You'll get quite a haul.

Charley Noble

There are three versions of Virgin Sturgeon in the DT:

VIRGIN STURGEON (mistitled VIRGIN STRUGEON in DT)
VIRGIN STURGEON (2)
VIRGIN STURGEON (3)

All are sung to "Reuben, Reuben"
