Oh No!
My youngest son always goes. He'll be extremely upset. I do wonder if the objectors will personally donate to the local charities (the schools in the area amongst others) the revinues they will lose. The festival has always included local charities and amenities when it doles out the profits.
Do they realise that it is a charity fund raising festival as well as a weekend of music and fun?
I bet they don't.
I will also bet that many of them will have moved into the area since the festival started and therefore should have bought houses elsewhere if they didn't want to live near a festival.
I'm disgusted.

Actually, they usually get refused. Then they appeal and the appeal is upheld. This looks like the pattern for this year.

:-)

The solution is simple. Huge screens and NO LIVE MUSIC and no PEL would be needed. That is my interpretation of the situation. Daft isn't it?
I am now getting worried about the festival I co-organise down here in Sussex.
