Subject: Looking for Walter Brennan song!

Hi all, I am looking for a Walter Brennan tune that says something along the lines of "Life Gets Tedious... Hound Dogs a Howlin', sittin' on a thorn, just too lazy to move."

My stepfather has talked about it for YEARS and I thought it would make a good present.

I dont know that it isn't Walter Brennan but here it is attributed to someone else. It's a GREAT song.

Wouldn'y you know it? Life gets Teejus, one of Carson Robison's last hits, is in the DT. Good place to look.

The song is called Life Gets Teejus Don't It and it was written by Carson Robison in 1948, and recorded by him as well as Peter Lind Hayes, Walter Brennan and possibly Luke the Drifter , which was a name that Hank Williams SENIOR used for a while. I just learned most of this while trying to identify the song from my childhood memories and find a recording to buy.

The Hayes & Robison versions are on You-Tube.

I recorded this one for Folk Legacy FSI 57 circa 1974.
It's still available as far as I know.
