18 Dec 02 - 03:23 PM (#849764) Subject: BS: Little Hawk - Conspiracy Theories Begin From: alanabit A week or so back, Bobert posted a thread asking where is Little Hawk? We knew that he was off on holiday and expected to be back about mid December. We are now past mid December and it is time for the conspiracy theorists to offer explanations for the rare phenomenon of several consecutive days without LH postings. My own preferred theory is that while on vacation, he was seduced by a nymphomaniac professor of Dylanology, who has enticed him back to her French vineyard. He is now living a life of sexually satisfied, wine drinking contentment while interpreting rare manuscripts of rejected lyrics from Blond on Blond. What do you think? |

But now Iz wonderin'. Well, remember the game of "Clue"? Well, I think someone offed Little Hawk but I'm not too sure who, where or how the deed was done, but I'm purdy danged certain that IT WAS DONE. Well, let's see who the suspects are. Hmmmmmm? Okay, who had LH gotten into it with just before his diasappearance? 1. DougR, as per usual 2. Teribus 3. GUEST, Turnip 4. troll 5. DougR 6. Junior, hisself And *where* was this dasturdly deed done, Hmmmmmmm? 1. Behind Muddy's Tavern 2. In the back isle of the Catsburg Record Shop 3. In the trunk of the killer's gray Oldsmobile Cutlass with the dent on the right front fender 4. In the Lincoln Bedroom 5. In the Arizona desert (hmmmm, Who lives in that area?) 6. In LH's basment studio. Okay, bobert. The weapon... 1. Cyber anthrax ground so fine that it goes right thru phone wires 2. Having to read one of Teribus's *war-n-peace* length rants 3. The leaded *peace pipe* 4. Choked on one of them 5 dollar words (7 bucks, with inflation..) 5. One of Saddam's WMD, i.e., ahhh, a bullet 6. Carbon monoxide from riding in the trunk of the Cutlass Hey, whoever's turn it it will ya' please roll the dice.... Bobert |

19 Dec 02 - 07:47 AM (#850234) Subject: RE: BS: Little Hawk - Conspiracy Theories Begin From: Willie-O I think I saw on the news last night what happened to Little Hawk...he was on the lawn of Ontario Legislative Assembly, same as any other day, protesting something or other as usual, when a special armor-plated motorized bicycle, ridden by Premier Ernie Eves, backed over him leaving only tread-marks and CO2 emissions. Entering intersections without stopping or looking either way, then back-pedalling furiously, is the current premier's main style of governing. There have been a lot of unintended accidents cuased by this, but this one was NOT one of them! W-O looking both ways, then up to scan for falling debris. |

19 Dec 02 - 06:37 PM (#850734) Subject: RE: BS: Little Hawk - Conspiracy Theories Begin From: catspaw49 Carol, the tatoo is probably a fact. He was incredibly jealous of mine. Now I hate to tell this but I sent him a picture of my "Wienie Tatoo" and at first he just laughed that I had "WAXY" tatooed down the side in one inch letters. Then I sent him another picture at full extension and he could see the whole thing which says, "WELCOME ABOARD THE STARSHIP ENTERPRISE AND MAY YOU ENJOY YOUR TRIP ABOARD THROUGH THE GALAXY." It was too much for him so I think the best he could then do was go for an ass-pic of Shatner. Say, isn't a tatoo of Shatner's face on your ass kinda' redundant? Spaw |

19 Dec 02 - 09:00 PM (#850841) Subject: RE: BS: Little Hawk - Conspiracy Theories Begin From: khandu Hmmm... my, my, how rumors abound! I, being a certified member of the WSSBA, know exactly where LH is, and what's going on with him. However, being a certified member in good standing, it would be remiss of me to reveal the facts of his mysterious absence. However, I can tell the following to alanabit, because Alan is being considered for membership in the WSSBA. So none of you other Mudcats may read beyond this sentence. I repeat, if you are not alanabit, READ NO MORE OF THIS POST!!!! Alan, Little Hawk and I are two of the few who were aware of the planned recording sessions between Bob Dylan and William Shatner. Due to many reasons, these proposed sessions never occurred. Over the years, both Dylan and Shatner have privately expressed desires to reconsider this project. In a slightly inebriated state, Shatner was heard to angrily shout to Leonard Nimoy, "If only Little Hawk could get involved, then the sessions would happen!" Now, you may not be aware, but Nimoy is known for being unable to hold a confidential converstion in confidence. He blabbed to his manager, who blabbed to Sheeney Kanouse (whoever the hell that is!) who blabbed to Rona Barret who sold the story to National Enquirer who later decided not to run the story, but instead traded the story to Amos for a set of Mudcat CDs. Amos, who is quite like Nimoy, sold the story to Harvey Goss, who called Little Hawk and told the story to him. Little Hawk, though he is a bold poster on this forum, is really quite the shy type. He ran and hid, hoping to elude the struggle of trying to get the two great men in the same room for the World's Greatest Recording Session! There you have it, alan...from my fingertips to your eyes! khandu |

20 Dec 02 - 02:54 AM (#850960) Subject: RE: BS: Little Hawk - Conspiracy Theories Begin From: alanabit Khandu I am devastated. I had heard rumours of a foul plot to establish once and for all whether Bob Dylan had less talent as an actor or William Shatner had less talent as a singer. To get confirmation of this awful news is shattering. The thought that years will pass by before one can turn on a television without fear of a rerun of the ghastly "Renaldo and Clara" or switch on a radio without the threat of a Shatnerised "I'll Be Your Baby Tonight" has quite ruined my day. And to think that a fellow Mudcatter has joined the plot. I propose that if Little Hawk does not ababndon the conspiracy immediately, give a full confession on Mudcat, send us all a bottle of finest red from the French vineyard and... and... Well if he doesn't I afraid we shall have to despatch 'Spaw to the recording studio with a very large tin of beans... |

William Shatner and Bob Dylan are also in the secret location in Greenland; those are artificial constructs walking around. And all of those folks previously mentioned -- the crew of the Marie Celeste, for instance -- are also there. So is Snaker Ray. You see, if there ever is a nuke war, They want the troops to have the best possible entertainment. Now, I have recently learned the Little Hawk refused to have an automaton made, so he was friz as is -- connected to the nymphomaniac professor.... I was too darned tired and busy on Thursday and Friday to get on the Mudcat. Why? Well, there was a backlog of business to clear away here in Orillia...and I have just spent 3 weeks in an Ashram getting up at 5 AM every day for meditation, yoga, chanting, garden work, discussion group, more meditation, choir instruction (for the little Trini kids...a wonderful bunch of dark-eyed angels), listening to a couple of thousand local dogs holler and howl to each other all night long (it grows on you after awhile)...oh, and roosters crowing from about 11 PM till dawn the next day... It was great! I do not have time right now to read this whole silly thread, but I have read the first few postings. 1. The one about the Dylanologist is marvelous, alanabit! Alas, it is not true, however. I must add that "Blonde on Blonde" is spelled with a final "e" on each Blonde. Very crucial! 2. Spaw...BETTER MINE THAN YOURS!!! Playing with the glorious Rick Fielding is a treat I always appreciate to the fullest! Amos - It's one way of saying it, to say it's "inside" (and it is). I could also say it's everywhere (it is). Let me put it another way: I Am That I Am And so are You! "I am you and you are me and we are we and we are all together...." Pretty neat, eh? I like Shatner, cos he's a fairly ordinary schmuck in a sense, with a rather good sense of humour, and he happened to become famous anyway. He reminds me of myself in some ways. I see myself in him. I am still trying to see myself in R. Crumb, and that's not nearly so easy, but well...he's not completely without redeeming features. - LH |

Once that wall comes down, the rest is just a cascade, I reckon!! Thanks for coming back, and staying coherent. I guess that dojo didja, or was it a place for getting your ashram hauled? A |
