21 Dec 02 - 12:51 PM (#851722) Subject: RE: Chord Req: my blue heaven From: GUEST,MCP The chord file is a pdf and you need Acrobat Reader to open it. I don't usually copy info from other sites into here, so I won't post the chords from there, but e-mail me if you can't read the pdf file and I'll send them to you in plain text. However, there is also another version (in E, slighly simpler chording I think) at the Guitar Guy's site: My Blue Heaven Mick (MCPearce0ATaolDOTcom - with suitable substitutions) (PS Steve Benbow has recently recorded some songs with a view to releasing them soon; I have a test copy of the songs that the final selection will be made from to give my comments on for the final version - 29 tracks to be whittled down to about 20. I'll post information properly when there's real news about it) |

21 Dec 02 - 11:51 PM (#852021) Subject: RE: Chord Req: my blue heaven From: Louie Roy years ago when I used to play in a bar after singing the original and most of the people were a little oiled I would always finish with this version and always got a nice round of applause. Last saturday night,oh lordy was I tight When I stumbled into my Blue Heaven I reached for the light I found it alright When I stumbled into my Blue Heaven A rolling pin hit me on the chin a chair or two When I awoke my jaw was broke both eyes were blue Just Molly and me and my mother-in-law makes three They beat the hell out of me in my Blue Heaven They caught me half way between the kitchen and the dining room They broke the rolling pin so they used the broom Just Molly and me and my mother-in-law makes three They beat the hell out of me in my Blue Heaven |
