23 Dec 02 - 10:27 AM (#852497) Subject: Carols at Clodock From: Folkie Vital Spark, Malvern's West Gallery Quire, will be giving a concert of Christmas carols in Clodock church on Sunday 29th December at 7 p.m. Clodock is a small village on the border between Herefordshire and Wales. It is off the main Hereford to Abergavenny road, signposted from Pandy. Some of the carols will be from the West country and some from the Sheffield pub caroling tradition. A concert like this has taken place at Clodock every Christmas for the last 10 years. Little churches like this can't afford to pay for PELs and the money collected at the concert is needed for vital repairs so please sign the petition against the proposed new legislation to ensure that concerts like this can continue. |
