27 Dec 02 - 12:20 PM (#854107) Subject: BS: Government Forced Drugging OK? From: GUEST On March 7, 2002, the Federal Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit handed down a ruling which would allow the U.S. government to forcibly drug defendants, who according to the constitution are to be presumed innocent until proven guilty... http://www.keepandbeararms.com/newsarchives/XcNewsPlus.asp?cmd=view&articleid=2360 http://www.nytimes.com/2002/12/26/national/26DENT.html (This man's crime was that he criticized the government's handling of the murders at Waco. And now, the U.S. govt. can drug you even though you haven't been convicted or even charged with anything). |

"Well, Doc, can ya patch him enough to get him thru the trial so we can stick his butt in the chair and fry him?" Ahhh, what's wrong wigth this picture? Hey, there are alot of folks in Ronnie Reagan/BillClinton/Georage Bush's America who just slip thru the cracks. No dough for mental health serivices! Then when the government's failures raise their evil heads, the victims end up on DEATH ROW! I knew this was going to happen back in 1979 when as a social worker saw the programs get cut, cut, cut. I told some of my fellow socail workers that out client's would one day be sitting on DEATH ROW. And here they are! And the beat goes on..... Bobert |

28 Dec 02 - 09:46 AM (#854497) Subject: RE: BS: Government Forced Drugging OK? From: GUEST But it's not just Dr. Sell. The Circuit Court's ruling means ANYONE can now be drugged against his or her will. If you're in custody, you can be drugged, whether you've been convicted or not. That's what the ruling means. Police can now drug you to make you appear incompetent if it suits their purposes, or they can give you anti-psychotics just to get you through your court appearances reasonably sane. This is what they used to do in those Soviet Union show trials, people. And a Federal Court in the U.S. ruled it can be done here. Buy guns. |
