I don't know if the two differ, but you can find bob dylan's version here:

"The Greenwood Side(y-O)" is a variant of "The Cruel Mother" (Child #20). Possibly their version is somewhere in the forum.

Dylan wrote "Tomorrow".

"Greenwood Side" is a traditional Appalachian version of a Child ballad ("Wife Of Ushers Well"?)I first heard recorded by Bob Gibson on a 1958 LP called OFFBEAT FOLSONGS on Riverside Records. We all wanted to partake of BEATNIK culture back then----Jack Kerouac & all---so I suppose this title was trying to tie Gibson's album in with that happening scene/movement.

Yes, "The Cruel Mother" (#20). Massato is correct.
