Oh.... "Happy New Year". I understand now.

I thought someone was asking, "How's Neil Young?"

So.... How is he?

Thanks, Bruce, for letting me know I'm not the only one who was confused. I thought it was about my hometown, Hicksville, New York (or Haverstraw, Herkimer, Hempstead...) Anyway, HNY to all you Oz folks. I once had an Australian beer called Swan. It was great. Have one for me tonight, OK?

Three and a half hours to a New Year in Shepherdstown, WV. For me the year has gone exceedingly well, both politically and personally.

My heart goes out to those who stand the watch;

Many living and dead have done it before you, yet few of our Nation appreciate it.

But to those who know...

It's your turn... God Speed and Good Hunting

We've got five hours still to go in California, but the minute is not the moment; what is important is the turning of the year cycle yet again, and anew.

Here's to all you wonderful guys and gals in Mudcat land -- the singers, players, scholars, thinkers, lovers, healers, dancers, lurkers, trollers, orators, poets and wisenheimers who make this forum such a pleasure to visit.

And most of all here to all of you who helped make the CDs a successful project. What a year we have had, eh??

Like Claymore, I agree that honor is ue to those on guard--against enemies and against our own loss of memory concerning who we are and what we stand for.

Most of all my wishes for a really prosperous and successful year in all your endeavours, to all you who are friends.

Love,

Amos
