A Very Happy New Year to all the Mudcatters that we had the privilege of meeting in 2002 and to all you Catters that have contributed to and made this site such a joy over the year.

Happy New Year to all, especially from those of us who must "Fear the Turtle".

We'll be pulling for you tonight Roy, but look forward to seeing Mr Williams and his boys again in Charlottesville...

Yass...yass...yass as Dean Moriarty would have said. I've been in a few a few ups and downs this last year, mostly other peoples, I'm glad to say but generally I should count my blessings. Happy New Year every body...

Yeah, GO TERPS! I want to see them boys try to get the "Fridge" up on the shoulders after they beat Tennessee. That ain't gonna happen, folks. That *AIN'T* gonna happen. Bucket of Gateraid, maybe. But the Fridge ain't shoulder material. No way....

Oh yeah, New Years too. Danged, almost forgot... you know... with the big game coming up...

So HAPPY NEW YEARS, H.C. (Hippie Chick) and all you folks who dare stick a paw in this big ol' Catbox...

And a special H.N.Y.'s to DougR fir being such a good sport. We roudy folks have roughed you up purdy good and, well, you've hung in there purdy good fir a nucklehead (the Bobert wipes a tear from his eye).

Bobert

Well, I can't drink, (diabetes), but that leaves more booze for the rest of you. Just be careful about it. I had my traditional New Years snack of smoked gouda and crackers and herring in cream sauce. I'll spend some time goofing off on the computer and then go to bed, and maybe go see Lord of the Rings tomorrow. Skarpi - if you decide to have one drink, make it a shot of akvavit and remind me of what it tastes like. As for the rest of you, thanks to everyone who contributed to the threads I started and have a Happy New Year.

I'm not much of a drinker, either, but happy new year to one and all.

Cheers, Bron,

Not feeling very happy new yearish.

Still trying to calm down terrified dog because some fools in the neighbourhood have decided that a good way to celebrate is to set of the loudest fireworks they can find.
They started before midnight and are still going on.

If you see a petition for banning fireworks from everything but organized displays - oh-please sing it.

Feel a bit better now that I've had a moan ....I know I won't be the only dog owner feeling this way.

Still ....HAPPY NEW YEAR MUDCATTERS ......THANK YOU FOR JUST BEING THERE

Well, Nutty, if you want us to "please sing" that petition for banning firewords ...," you gotta put it into song form first!! *BG*

Genie

PS,

Most of the fireworks I saw last night already ARE illegal here in Oregon. Folks just smuggle 'em in across that heavily guarded border between Washington and Oregon!
