Does anyone know where I can buy a tail piece for a maccaferi guitar. I am currently building one and can't get hold of a tail piece. Any ideas will be gratefully recieved.
Many thanks!

Don't know if this page will help at all. It's an order form for a kit......but they might have info on where to get a tail piece.

You could try contacting some of the makers of Macc copies, for example have a look at these sites:

DJ Hodson

RJ Aylward

(latter is in Bexley Village, Kent, so may be easier for you).

(John Le Voi is another, but his site's offline at the moment).

Sorry. the link didn't go all the way. Click on Bridges and tailpieces, then on Guitars,(Electric). Then on Trapeze tailpieces. The repro is a beautiful piece.

On another topic - I saw a film called The Innocent Sleep last night (Thu BBC1) with an escape from what looked suspiciously like The Tap. I say nothing about music.
