13 Jan 03 - 09:33 AM (#865890) Subject: PTH9 @ Durty Nellies, Hull...again From: The DeanMeister Hey boys and girls, the equine pugilists will be there Saturday night, 18th January. There will no repeat performance of the DeanMeister's attempt to sink as low as Phil T Habetz' taste in company. Mr Axeman conducted an experiment to see how the ladies of Hornsea looked after 8 pints last Saturday, and was the subject of much hilarity in the van on the way home.... For the record, it was part of a mission to discover wether there are female humanoid lifeforms in Holderness. Not even the said amount of strong cider led me to arrive at any conclusion other than...NO. Come back to me, Noreen, my sweet? My comrades did not see the scientific side of my experiment... |

14 Jan 03 - 04:19 AM (#866469) Subject: RE: PTH9 @ Durty Nellies, Hull...again From: The DeanMeister Smallpiper, I am aware of the clash of dates already. I would have liked to take up Nikki's invitation to Barrow. Hmmmm. Nicely done, John. I feel a dastardly plot has been executed to perfection. Happy Birthday to you both, anyway! Noreen, the recruitment drive was splendidly successful, if you count three invitations to go dancing at the Floral Hall (Hornsea's only late club). However, I had to be taken home in the Punch-mobile, so declined like a good boy. The funny bit was that the one who stayed behind to keep trying was a totally hideous single alien mother of five children. God only knows how she managed it, frankly. Gentle teasing, Ossonflags? You were both laughing your bloody socks off!! On a positive note, it was really good fun night out with the fellas, and it was good have a laugh again. Just like auld times, Mick. Long live Punch The Horse. |

14 Jan 03 - 06:12 AM (#866523) Subject: RE: PTH9 @ Durty Nellies, Hull...again From: Oaklet "Two gigs" Oakley will be with you both in spirit. In person, I'll be dashing back from Driffield to do the Cara gig at the Hope and Anchor, South Ferriby on that Saturday night. Have a good un! Sorry, I nearly forgot, 9. There, that's better. |

14 Jan 03 - 08:15 AM (#866579) Subject: RE: PTH9 @ Durty Nellies, Hull...again From: smallpiper How's about this then Deanie, Nik Nak is beyond us both - I have to accept that - it dosn't stop me loving her to bits but I understand her heart lies elsewhere and that is cool by me. Is that some kind of consolation? |

14 Jan 03 - 08:17 AM (#866582) Subject: RE: PTH9 @ Durty Nellies, Hull...again From: smallpiper P.S. We are however both distraught that our friends are putting money (and their adoring public) before us! It will be remembered! |

Anyway, its a shame the bash clashes with PTH. I'm sure we would have loved to attend. Hope you have a great evening though. Sincerely. 45??? ho ho ho... |

14 Jan 03 - 06:04 PM (#866964) Subject: RE: PTH9 @ Durty Nellies, Hull...again From: Linda Kelly Can I just ask - in view of the Queen appearing today in a trouser suit and thus thrusting royal fashion forward by 100 years at least -can we now expect Oakley to ditch the tweed , support tights and silk headscarf - his normal wardrobe at PTH gigs in hot pursuit of her majesty (sorry republican can't bring myself to use catial letters). I think trousers, on the odd occassion, would become him. |
