On Martin Carthy's 'Signs of Life,' he covers a song called John Parfit, written by somebody Flynn. (James?)... Is this true? It sounds more like it would have happened in 1778? How could no-one have been brought to justice? Cant find any mention of the case, which apparently enraged Flynn, anywhere. Thanks! |
