It is a study on gun violence, especially by the young, and includes some amazing and angering footage. In it there is an amazing interview with Charleton Heston, from the N.R.A., and he attempts to interview Dick Clark regarding a business he owns. I would recommend this movie highly. One very moving part shows how 2 of the victims of the Columbine tragedy were instrumental in getting Wal-Mart to stop carrying ammunition for semi-automatic weapons. There is a brief part at the end of the movie about a killing (3 killed?) which happened at a bowling alley. Has anyone heard any news about this incident? (I am not sure if it is an actual even or fiction) The 2 young men who were the shooters at Columbine High School had gon bowling that morning with their class. You can find more info on the documentary film and michael's book Stupid White Men here: http://www.michaelmoore.com/ |
