Mandolin Chimes - the Tune

Does anyone know anything about this tune- who wrote it, how old is it, did anyone else record it?

I learned it from Bill Yohey, a family friend, back about 1960 or a bit earlier. I looked up the tune in Google and the only reference it gives is to Bill's LP.

Bill was a fiddler, very active in the OldTime Fiddler's Assoc. So far as I know he didn't write tunes himself, although a tune he called 'My Dad's Waltz' he said had been in his family for a long time. He died in the early 90s, I think; he would have been in his upper 70s, I believe.

I've tried Ebbie and came up with the same as you. I will try some more.

Thanks, RR. I'm trying some other search engines but haven't found any more yet.    Wonder if Bill Y. wrote it himself? It's a nice tune. I'm teaching it to a friend, but I'd like to have a bit of information on it. Never thought about asking Bill about it 30 -40 years ago.
