The music comes across the world from all lands It's carried by the travelers where e're they go But the polititions seek to still the masses For music is a language they don't know. They passed a law that makes a crime of singing They say our instruments we cannot play But since music didn't come from politicians, It's not a right that they can take away. And if there is a home in there hereafter A Beulah land that lies beyond the skies I'll take my place and sing with all the angels In that land where politicians seldom rise! |
