Lyr Req: Firemen pounding? / The Bravest (Paxton)

Just heard a startling song sung by Tom Paxton on Archie Fisher's radio show. It kept blipping off but as I recall:

Now every time I try to sleep
I'm troubled by the sound
Of firemen pounding up the stairs
While we were running down.

I don't see anything likely at CDNow. Any notion what record this might be on?

It's Tom Paxton's The Bravest........discussed a lot here. Put Bravest in the Filter box and re set to All.

this is the sontg THE BRAVEST and is from his most recent CD
Looking For The Moon. Only one problem-as a female fire fighter,
the use of the term "firemen", leaves out my sisters who perished
in the towers. The image of rescuers running into a burning bldg.
is a heroic one, however, and the song is very moving.

I know there are women firefighters, and they risk their lives as much as their male comrades but I thought the NYFD firefighters who died in the towers were in fact all male. Here's a site with pictures.

there are more, but this one news item
is avaialable from my files at this time:
Yamel Jager Merino, an EMT from Brooklyn,
NY died in the collapse of the south tower.
Merino, 24, who was a single mother of an 8
year old son, was helping a patient in the
stairwell.
Incredible to see all those faces and realize
they are no longer with us--such a great loss.
