12 Feb 03 - 03:51 AM (#888331) Subject: Lyr Req: Eliza Carthy's Jackie Tar From: GUEST,Brandon in IN Hola, I have an album titled "And We'll All Have Tea...English Folk Anthology" in which on the second cd Eliza Carthy sings the song "Jackie Tar" and I was curious if anybody knew the lyrics to this version. It's NOT the same "Jackie Tar" that's on this site, which is from the Oxford Book of Sea Songs. The album sleeve says that the recording used is from the album "Eliza Carthy and the Kings of Calicutt", but when I searched on the internet I found that this song is not on that album, nor any of Eliza Carthy's other albums. If anyone can help me out I will be very grateful. Thanks Brandon |
