I think that is great for Ginny, David and their fans. I like their voices, songs, and them. I am also glad that they have been able to help spread the songs of Chicago favorite, Tom Dundee. Are there others who are glad to see they are back? Are there any who have seen them recently? Chris |

13 Feb 03 - 09:29 PM (#889983) Subject: RE: Any Reilly and Maloney Fans? From: Deckman I thought I'd expand a little on why I am such a HUGE fan of them. When they first got together and were starting their performing career in the 70's, I also had a singing partner. Lynn and I spent many, many hours in practising, developing our sound, our reptoire, our music, and our following. Singing very close harmony with a partner is like nothing else. It is a special enjoyment unto itself. And when it clicks on stage, with an audience, it's almost indescribable. And this was what I recognised, early on with Ginny and Dave. You could, can, almost reach out and touch the electricity that happens. It's quite thrilling to witness. I'm looking forward to seeing them again. CHEERS, Bob |
