Shannon Castle Singers

Has anyone ever heard of a group called "The Shannon Castle Singers"? I once heard a tape my friend had and it was a chorale type group with soloists every now and then -- they sang songs like "Cruiskeen Lawn", "The Spinning Wheel", and "Danny Boy", as well as some other traditional Irish songs. I'm not sure what the title of the album was; something like "A Traditional Irish Evening" or somesuch...

Thanks! cleod

Sounds like the "Irish Cabaret" group who perform at some "medieval banquet" functions in a couple of restored castles within easy reach of Shannon Airpooort (just outside Limerick, Ireland).

I just found a cd by the people I was looking for -- "Medieval Banquet" by the Shannon Castle Singers; unfortunately, the darned thing's incredibly expensive (for my part of the world -- I mean, 52 German marks?!?)

Anyway, thanks for helping!
