My vague memory suggests the Pozo Seco Singers from the late 60's. Certainly someone will get this one for you. The verses went something like this. It was the title for the first album "Time" on Columbia CS 9315. I have their follow-up album "I Can Make It With You." A point of interest: one member of this trio was Donnie Williams (so say the liner notes). Many of you will know him as the country singer/songwriters, Don Williams. Quite a mellow dude. I will try an internet search now that I have more information and the official song title "Time". I am intrigued at the prospect of digging up this memory. You can purchase a CD by the Pozo-Seco Singers with their first two albums on it (including of course the song "Time"). Check musicstrip.com or cdnow.com.
