Hi, can anybody help find the lyrics to this real old song.
       "Dear old Georgia"
In dear old Georgia, my Dixie land
was there I met her and won her hand
among the pine trees I long to roam
in dear old Georgia my southern home

Thanks in advance. God Bless....

Newfie Girl,

When making a lyric request, it is most helpful if you put the title or the significant words in the thread title. It is more likely to attract responses than "another old song." Keep coming back. We aim to please.

Also at Historic American Sheet Music:

In Dear Old Geogia (New York, New York, Jerome H. Remick, 1905).

First Line of Chorus should be: "In dear old Georgia, my Dixie land."
