The lyrics were posted in the DT once but for the wrong song (with the same title). It's been recorded by Grateful Dead-Old And In The Way; Jimmy King; Muleskinner; Peter Rowan; A verse and chorus are: I'm knockin' on your door again my darlin' I'm knockin' on your door please answer me Cause I've tried to make you realize my darlin' That no one slse was ever meant for me Well, I remember dear you said you'd always love me And you promised me your happyness so true But now you gone away, dear, with another And I wonder if you feel the way I do I'm knockin' on your door again my darlin' I'm knockin' on your door please answer me Cause I've tried to make you realize my darlin' That no one else was ever meant for me. It's listed as tradional but I can't find any detailed info about it. Thanks, -Richie |
