03 Mar 03 - 01:09 PM (#902498) Subject: Tech: Deleting PMs question From: katlaughing Is there any way to do block deletions of multiple PM's? A Choose All or do we have to do them one at a time, once they've been archived, I mean? Thanks, kat |

03 Mar 03 - 01:14 PM (#902501) Subject: RE: Tech: Deleting PMs question From: MMario you can block DELETE the archived messages , but you have to select them for deletion singly. Does that make sense? what I am trying to say is you have to mark each message individually for deletion, but when you process the page all marked messages will delete. |

03 Mar 03 - 02:49 PM (#902563) Subject: RE: Tech: Deleting PMs question From: katlaughing Yes, that does make sense and I have seen that, but not tried it, thanks MMario. The thing I'd like to be able to do is say, for instance, call up all of the PM's I've received or sent to one particular member and delete them all at once, without having to tic every one of them. If I can't do that, it's okay, it's just going to take a long time to sort through them all otherwise:-) Thanks! |

04 Mar 03 - 05:47 AM (#903004) Subject: RE: Tech: Deleting PMs question From: katlaughing LOL, Ralphie! I think it's more a matter of how long I've been here and never, ever deleting any of them. Some Mudcatters I know are so good and tidy, they do housekeeping as they go along. Not me, I just let it pile up in all of the corners until there are great towering lists of them....:-) Of course, it's kind of neat when I think "Hmmm...now who told me that and when?" and I can find it in a matter of minutes with the new search features on our personal pages! Thanks, kat |

As a Technician and Musician it saves time searching when I need help with gear, housekeeping etc...Yes the new divide seems to work. When I need serious info, I can visit the top half of the Cat, and for Fun, Mindless Bigotry, Obsessive Behaviour, Shit Stirring (both Trolls and Flames) I can visit the soft underbelly of the Cat... To quote I Claudius... "Let all the poisons that lurk in the mud...hatch out" !! Well done to the Chaps and Chappesses of the Cat for organising it thus. Regards Ralphie |
