There's an extensive discography here. Unfortunately, it doesn't tell you which recordings are currently available.

AMG/All Music Guide is a good source of information. Type "Ewan MacColl" into the search box, and it will bring up a biography and a list of recordings. The ones with a red "buy" button in front of them are the ones that are currently for sale, at least in the US.

Another good source of information about current CDs is Yahoo! Music. I especially like it because it has lots of sound samples.

Scarpi! Ewan was pretty political, we should move this thread down the page to the BS posts!
Cheers

Tongue in cheek, one assumes, Larry?

It would be nice to find a lot of older recordings in CD format. I have lots of MacColl's LPs but would rather get well-engineered reissues than burn them to CDs myself. Same with performers like Ed McCurdy. But not a peep, or so is the word at Mudcat last time we discussed it.

A friend of mine has a Ewan McColl song book, it was compiled by Peggy Seeger. It has extensive notes on the songs, including dates etc. If my memory serves it also has a complete discography.
