BS: Tobacco Farmer Holds off US with Tractor

Saying that he has manure based explosives, Dwight Watson, age 50 and from North Carolina, has parked a Jeep pulling his farm reactor on a trailer in the "reflecting Pool" on the the Mall in Washington, D.C. Hmmmmm?Sounds like a *native * Carolina boy to me! (jus funnin')

But what isn't fun is this feeling that I have that if this was an IMF/World Band protester, he would have been shot by a sniper within a few minutes.

But Mr. Watson has a "Support Our Troops" sign and an American Flag and so the authorities have shown more diplomacy in dealing with him that the President has shown in total on Iraq.

It should be pointed out to those not familiar with where this guy is that if he detonated whatever explosives he has that are manure based that all that would be blown up would be one jepp, one trailer with a tractor and maybe a tree or two.

Just trying to put a few things into perspective here...

LOL, springhopper... I played fir at least a hour tonight and the "P-Vine" told me to bug off! Can you imagine that?

Think I'll drive my garden tractor down to D.C. with a "Eat More Possum" sign on it and park nest to the tobacco farmer in the relecting pool.

Whaddayathink'

And what is a springhopper? Or who..

Ahhh, nvermind...

Jus' be sure to watch the news tomorrow. Hmmmmmmm? if I leave now and the mower goes 5 mph and its 70 miles... lets see... Ahhhh, maybe check the news for the following day...

I have carried manure based explosives through the streets of DC and other places without being arrested.......although some will argue that I should be.

farm reactor? World Band? Danged, Bobert, either there is more to this story than you've told us, or you need to start using the Preview feature! ;-)

Cheers,
Michael

The French have promised to help bring the sucker down, as long as the cops get approval from Mr. Greenjeans.

Well, danged! You all can make all the fun you want, but this poor guy is is fir a chilly night down there in D.C. in the middle of the reflecting pool and well, okay, maybe the possum eatin' issue isn't one of my stronger ones, but if I can get this danged garden tractro fire up, strap a flag on it, I'll just take a poster board and a mijic marker and think of somethin' better on the way down. Heck, I won't get there fir a day and a half.

But now really. Think of it. You have three government buildings shut down, you have 50 FBI and CIA agents and a few hundred D.C. cops satndin' 'round the reflecting pool with this *very native * North Carolina tobaccie farmer camped out on his tractor 'cause he's mad at someone about some tobaccie thing that the rest of the world don't have a clue about. Meanwhile, with all these folks camped out watching him and trying to negotiate with him, it's costing the taxpayers about $1M a day. Okay, maybe not that much. But lots! Heck, I think I'll just call up Georgie Porge and tell him that I think the guy is Saddam in disquise and then Georgie Porge will just nuke D.C. and in doing so solve a lot of problems.

Junior's last words "Heck, how was I to know that the White House was in D.C.?"

Well, Tractorman, has surrendered. Yep, he must have heard a weather forcast for tonight and figured he's up his chosen surrender by one day.

Oh well, I wasn't going to be able to get my garden tractor down there anyway since the danged thing won't start. Then I figurded I'd ride my son's old bicycle down there but both tires were flat.

Maybe next time...
