21 Mar 03 - 07:11 AM (#915234) Subject: RE: Singaround Barton,Beds UK 24th March From: GUEST,Piers No way Ross, I love my shaky Pringles container! My war is going OK. Hats off to the radical students from Roundwood Park School who demonstrated by walking out of lessons yesterday, and the sixth form who took the demo into town where it seemed to fizzle out, rather than being the catalyst for revolution as I had hoped. Harpenden's means of production, unfortunately, are still owned and controlled by the few. I believe St. Albans really put on a good show of support for peace. My personal 'walk out' of work went completely unnoticed. Big marches tomorrow in London, Fairford (Glos.) or Menwith. I have just learnt that Oscar Ceremony will be protected by the US national guard, perhaps local scout troop could protect the session at The Bull, Barton le Clay. Piers ************* Don't miss Leon Rosselson tonight (21/3), Comfort Hotel, St. Albans. Sheffield Telegraph - '…Proof that the art of songwriting is not dead' Washington Post - 'His songs are teeming with colourful characters, wonderfully descriptive passages and witty observations' Taplas - 'One of the most able songwriters or our times' |
