Bit of a double-take there, Alison - thought you meant St Albans, UK - should have read the title really :-)

Looks like a good Fest & I for one would rather be out there with you guys - have fun!!

Me too, Guru. And with my son living in Oz, I was agog for a down-under feel(I just read what I wrote and it looks wrong, but you know what I mean). Buggrit!

Have a good one, Alison, and success with your bodhran workshops.

We are planning (again) to be there this year. I know I said it last year but last year I was sick so we didn't get there.

So, I hope we do get there this year.

not me - the Dog is same night, but half of my helpers & audience will be there.

Then they all started crying when they heard they're missing Enda Kenny & Lindsay Martin!!

But they can't have both Snalbans & Dog (next year I plan to book the 3rd Sat)

Yes, I'll be there. I'm doing a Native American drumming and chanting workshop at 11.30 am on the Friday, in the Courthouse, which I believe is over the other side of the river, near the hall.

Even if I wasn't, you couldn't keep me away. It's one of my favourite festivals, and I wouldn't miss it for quids!

Anyway, I'm off in a few hours to the National, so I won't see any more of this discussion until I drop in home next Wednesday to wash a few clothes, and head off again to Snalbans.

Ah, it's such a hard life, all this festival going! ;-)

It looks like we probably won't get there again this year. Hubby's Mum is in hospital up the coast and he is going back up to see her tomorrow. I might be going too, if we can find a kind person to feed the kittens.

As one of our friends said today, there is always something preventing the two of us from getting to Snalbans.

Refreshing this to ask if anybody who went has any photos they can post, or send me directly?

I am writing an article for Cornstalk about the festival, which is due by Friday, and they have asked me if I have a photo. I suspect it might be going to be on the front page.

Post here or PM me if you can help.
