Poll time.

How many of you string pluckers and strummers have tried BAGDAD tuning in the last two months? Did it do anything for you?

No, but I tried playing that chord progression, thinking I'd get some exotic middle-eastern sound, but it was pretty insipid and lackluster.

I thought about it too but decided it would be too hard on the bottom E string!

Are you sure it's not DADGAD? As in Celtic tuning? It IS easier on the wrist if you have that problem. Great for heavy duty jig and reel strumming.
