I can sing half-arsed OK, but I'm not a great musician -- I don't even know the names of some of the chords I play -- but I really need to learn some new stuff. It took me 30 years to figure out my faves from the 70s but now I'm heartily sick of churning out "Horse with no name" etc. I'm looking for a few songs of the last decade with fairly simple chord progressions. I like Sugar Ray, Oasis, Cold Play that kind of stuff. What three songs would you recommend I have a go at? |
