I recently saw them at Rotchester sweeps festival and bought their album - I'm totally hooked! I'd like to know if any of you have too heard of them? I think they're something really quite special. |

13 May 03 - 10:15 AM (#951736) Subject: RE: The band Arlen From: MairSea They appeared again at the Gosport/Fareham Festival this year. They are a local band from the Fareham area. I don't think they have a website yet. According to the Festival blurb:- ""ARLEN: Local to Fareham, Arlen have been described as 'a young Fairport Convention'. Featuring fiddle, acoustic and electric guitars, drums, bass and Lucy Rutherford on Lead Vocals."" They were excellent at the Late Night Festival Club on the first night of the Festival. Worth going to see and hear and experience. Sorry I can't, as usual, be more help. If you want more info then try to contact Peter Chegwyn who is the Festival organiser. |
