Don't let the low price fool you - we have some of the best performers around! Call 207-373-1526 FMI. Doors open & open mike sign up at 7:00. Don't be late! Take Rt.95 north to exit 22. Left at the "T" onto Rt.1/Pleasant St. Go 3 traffic lights (be in right lane) and go STRAIGHT thru the third, up a hill. Count 3 churches on your right; UU Church is on corner of Middle & Pleasant. Been wanting to get to this one - or one of the Press Room shindigs for some time now; something always seems to fuddle up the plans! Is anyone considering another Chanty Hoot in the Portland / Brunswick area this Summer? Will the Portland Observatory thing be going on? What the heck is Kendall doing in Washington? I thought Al Sharpton already had a Campaign Manager... Hope the Bruswick gig was a good'n - 'spect it were - wish't I couldda been there!. |

I've got to get the lyrics to their housework song, sung to the tune of "The Old Rose & Crown." It's as good as anything Lou and Peter Barrymen ever came up with. Uncle Jaque- Unfortunately, there are no plans for any shanty/chantey sings in the portland area. We're all too busy. Maybe we can do something with Bunker and Sharon in the fall.
