22 May 03 - 05:31 PM (#957891) Subject: Uilleann pipe theft - Southern Californi From: PageOfCups I saw a story in the LA Times today about somebody stealing two sets of uilleann pipes from Gabriel McKeagney in San Juan Capistrano. Happened a week ago. According to the story, McKeagney suspects it was another piper because only the pipes, some CDs and sheet music were taken. Anybody know more about this? Unlike fiddles and flutes etc. they are real easy to spot. Good luck to him. Larry |
