What is this (movie) song? - from Tuck Everlasting

Just saw the movie "Tuck Everlasting" with William Hurt and Sissy Spacek. Anyone know the name of the tune that figures prominently (the music box in the movie plays it)? It sounds Dorian or Mixolydian -- Scots/Irish/Appalachian perhaps?

Thanks in advance.

TIA

According to the IMDB, the 2002 version of Tuck Everlasting has an original score by William Ross, a very prolific composer. The soundtrack is available at Amazon. The Amazon page also has some links to audio samples -- you might find the exact one you are looking for.

If you go to the amazon link above and click on "sample music" and then on the track called "Tuck's Place" you'll probably find a short bit of the tune.
It sounds like a modal fiddle tune, but it's not one I recognize, and it's possible that Ross, the composer, created it for this movie.
