(Did you put the postcard up at work?) Thank you, thank you, everybody!!! Here it is, after six in the evening. I've been back since yesterday afternoon and even read the music threads this morning, while getting caught up (trying) on e-mail and snail mail that's been piling up for two weeks while I was in Milwaukee. Hadn't even made it as far as the BS threads as I had woken up with a headache (and my body, I think, still at 70 miles an hour) which didn't want to give up the ghost, so I took a handful of ibuprofen (I've told you a million times not to exaggerate!) early this afternoon and curled up with the cats to take a nap. The nap helped, I think, and the messages and wishes definitely did! (And if I clear some of the stuff I'm unpacking off the table, I might even have a place to eat that lobster -- too rainy to desecrate the dead body out on the deck.) No, no, Spaw -- those bats have been trained to fly YOUR way with more birthday greetings for you! (They're just practicing with mine.) Thanks everybody! Linn |
