Caversham is the North part of Reading, Berks, UK. The festival is held on the riverfront & in various local pubs. There is a program of concerts, childrens events, blues stuff, skiffle bit, constant singarounds, etc etc. Something for everyone. Dunno who the wierd looking bloke on the program cover is............... :>) There is no entrance fee, but plenty of collection tins going round. Camping is available for a small fee. Lots of stuff going on. So if you've nothing better to do (and who could possibly have anything better)...... Here's a link CCFF |

It was their spontaneous session in my father's pub some thirty years ago which got me into folk music. I am glad to hear they are still playing.
