17 Jun 03 - 02:36 AM (#967392) Subject: new music book From: Alexis I thought that I would share this; Being new to folk and stuff, I came across a book of tunes by Nick Barber (White Rose Morris and excellent musician in his own right). It is called (approx) the English Session and has 96 tunes mostly English but with a smattering of other. I have found that I can only keep a limited number of tunes and titles in my head and that they aren't usually the same. I've played lots of these tunes before, but didn't know what they were called. Anyway, it's published by Mally music £8.95 and for those, like me, not long of the folk type world, it's brill. The next step up from Mally's Northwest book perhaps. All the best Alex |
