24 Jun 03 - 07:06 AM (#971465) Subject: BS: most mudcatters From: GUEST Who's met the most mudcatters? |
24 Jun 03 - 08:16 AM (#971488) Subject: RE: BS: most mudcatters From: Allan C. I feel fairly certain that Bill Sables (UK) and I (currently USA) might be tied for first place on that. Bill stopped counting quite some time ago, as did I. My best guess would be that each of us has met well over two hundred. The two of us, together, have met more than one hundred and fifty. |

24 Jun 03 - 10:15 AM (#971558) Subject: RE: BS: most mudcatters From: GUEST,KB Are there some negative people in there Allan?? |
24 Jun 03 - 10:18 AM (#971562) Subject: RE: BS: most mudcatters From: Amos LOL! No, he means "while working as a pair we've met 150". A |
24 Jun 03 - 10:18 AM (#971563) Subject: RE: BS: most mudcatters From: CarolC Bill and Allan met more than one hundred and fifty Mudcatters while they were traveling together, and each has met many 'Catters while they were not traveling together, adding up to a greater number for each than for the two of them traveling together. |
24 Jun 03 - 10:42 AM (#971573) Subject: RE: BS: most mudcatters From: GUEST,KB So how many mudcatters actually are there? - excluding those of us that "Guest"? |

24 Jun 03 - 11:15 AM (#971588) Subject: RE: BS: most mudcatters From: MMario There are more mudcatters then post, and less mudcatters then people living in china. Some are larger then breadboxes. |
24 Jun 03 - 11:28 AM (#971593) Subject: RE: BS: most mudcatters From: Amos There are 9,712 registered Mudcatter names after deleting a few obvious non-persons like "testname". This is not normalized data, there may be overlaps and god knows how many were one-log-in stands, but there's an order of magnitude for ya anyway. A |
24 Jun 03 - 12:12 PM (#971614) Subject: RE: BS: most mudcatters From: Schantieman I know at least one person that has four different Mudcat names! Steve |
24 Jun 03 - 12:14 PM (#971617) Subject: RE: BS: most mudcatters From: Schantieman ..sorry - got trigger happy. ...but I'm astonished and delighted to hear that there are thousands rather than hundreds. Do we have a breakdown of where they live? Even by continent? (You know what they say - Dover for the continent, Eastbourne for the incontinent) I'll get my coat. |

24 Jun 03 - 12:17 PM (#971621) Subject: RE: BS: most mudcatters From: Mrs.Duck A one login stand Is that when you have cyber sex and then never e mail again? |
24 Jun 03 - 12:30 PM (#971629) Subject: RE: BS: most mudcatters From: Bill D I suspect Dick Greenhaus has met close to as many as Alan & Bill Sables, but I'm not sure why we need to have a 'winner'...anyone who has attended the FSGW Getaway and traveled in Europe has a good score, and with the various events being scheduled, the 'score' will change rapidly. |
24 Jun 03 - 12:39 PM (#971635) Subject: RE: BS: most mudcatters From: Allan C. Schantieman, we would have a far better idea of where 'Catters live if more people would post to the Mudcat Locator in the "Members Photos & Info" section. I'm glad to see your name listed as a Liverpoolian; but I'm betting you are not the only Mudcatter there. On the other hand, there are people listed who no longer live in the area shown. Time for updates, people! |

24 Jun 03 - 04:44 PM (#971769) Subject: RE: BS: most mudcatters From: gnu I've met the least, although many may tie for this position. Heck, there's one 'Cat that is a musician of note in The Maritimes and New England who has been praised by none other than Kendall himself in this forum that lives a few houses from my uncle right here in town that I haven't met face to face. We've even played at the same church function and somehow... then again, I play Rhan, so.... |
24 Jun 03 - 05:17 PM (#971782) Subject: RE: BS: most mudcatters From: bill\sables There is no way of knowing how many. I constantly meet up with people I met in the 60's who are now members and if you walk down the main street in Hull you can't miss one or two. Cheers Bill |

24 Jun 03 - 05:28 PM (#971791) Subject: RE: BS: most mudcatters From: Sorcha Well, it's 'sort of a contest' just because it can be........and it's kinda fun. Bet a Lot of the 9,000 + were One Timers tho. As in several thousand. Curious to know how many Regulars, as in at least once a week. No way that I know of to find out easily. |

24 Jun 03 - 05:49 PM (#971803) Subject: RE: BS: most mudcatters From: Little Hawk This doesn't really matter. What matters is how many Mudcatters have met William Shatner. I have met about 15 mudcatters, I think...or maybe 20. Something like that. - LH |

24 Jun 03 - 06:09 PM (#971807) Subject: RE: BS: most mudcatters From: Allan C. Bill D and the rest, updating the Locator is totally an individual thing. I can't correct the errors for anyone else. I can only submit my own changes. Instructions are on the "Members Photos & Info" page. |

24 Jun 03 - 06:26 PM (#971818) Subject: RE: BS: most mudcatters From: Liz the Squeak How long is it going to take for this to turn into something filthy and degrading like 'who has slept with the most Mudcatters'? 26 Jun 03 - 09:28 PM (#973047) Subject: RE: BS: most mudcatters From: Janice in NJ I have met several people who I did not were Mudcatters until afterwards. I assume many of us have had that experience. I also assume I have met Mudcatters who I don't yet know are Mudcatters. And as far as I know, I've only slept with two. But does it really count as sleeping if all you do is have sex and then go home without staying the night? It's still only two. Both married. Neither to me. |

26 Jun 03 - 10:55 PM (#973078) Subject: RE: BS: most mudcatters From: Sorcha I've not slept or had sex with any Catters--my Mr. is not a Catter. Sorry to disapoint you all. Maybe next Yorks (04) I can sleep with some.......... |
